Helpline Consultant

Are you a customer service professional with a knack for problem-solving? Do you have experience in the financial services or superannuation industry? We are looking for a dedicated Helpline Consultant to provide superior front-line support for our members and clients.

In this role, you’ll be the voice of our brand, helping members navigate their superannuation products and online systems with confidence and ease.

The Role

• Pay Rate: $35.15 per hour + super.
• Location: Adelaide CBD location (close to public transport)
• Flexibility: Work from home (WFH) options available after the first month.
• Hours: Full-time rostered hours between 7:00am - 8:00pm Monday - Friday.

What You’ll Do

• Provide Expert Support: Resolve inquiries regarding the Mercer Super Trust, corporate funds, and retail superannuation products.
• Be a Technical Resource: Offer mentoring, training, and technical support to your fellow Helpline Consultants.
• Collaborate Internally: Build strong, positive relationships with internal stakeholders and create effective communication links across business units.
• Deliver Solutions: Use your knowledge of superannuation legislation and online services to provide general advice and resolve queries efficiently.

Who You Are

• Experienced: You previous experience in a Contact Centre based position (exposure to the Financial Services industry favorable but not required).
• A Great Communicator: You possess strong oral and written communication skills and are a natural at listening and building relationships.
• Tech-Savvy: You are proficient in Windows and internet applications.
• Resilient & Team-Oriented: You thrive in a collaborative environment and stay positive when solving complex problems.
